13th Kuala Lumpur International Numismatic Fair: A New Chapter

As the event organizer for the 13th Kuala Lumpur International Numismatic Fair (KLINF), I’m thrilled to share the highlights and successes of this edition's show. It was an exciting and challenging journey, but one that we embraced wholeheartedly.

The 13th KLINF was held at a brand new venue—the Berjaya Times Square Hotel. Not only was it a fresh location, but we also expanded the exhibition space from 12,000 square feet to an impressive 18,000 square feet. With this growth came new challenges, but we’re always up for a good challenge! The new space provided room for a wider variety of activities, making the fair even more engaging and vibrant.

The fair saw a significant rise in exhibitors, with the number increasing from 60+ to 80 numismatic exhibitors! This diverse range included numismatic dealers, auction houses and grading companies, creating an even richer experience for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

We were proud to host exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, including Australia, Brunei, China, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. The international presence truly reflected the global appeal and importance of the event.

This year’s show featured several exciting sessions and activities. One of the standout moments was the presence of PMG Grading Finalizer, Mr. Adam Howerton, who offered free one-on-one consultations for paper money. This was a fantastic opportunity for attendees to get expert advice and insights.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming PCGS Asia, where Mr. Jacky and Mr. Vincent promoted the highly anticipated Straits Settlements Label launch. Their enthusiasm and expertise made for an unforgettable experience.

As I reflect on this edition's fair, it’s clear that while we faced our fair share of challenges, we navigated them with a strong sense of determination. Each hurdle has been a valuable learning experience, and with the knowledge we’ve gained, we’re more excited than ever for what lies ahead.

The next show promises to be even more spectacular and extraordinary, with more activities, highlights, and unforgettable moments for our visitors. We look forward to welcoming you once again and making the next event an even greater success!
